156. O Circles and Lines |
Some people walk in circles
every day the same old track
Some people walk in lines
from A to B and don't look back
Some people talk in circles
their points far between and few
And others' lines of reason
block all other thoughts from view
Some people live in circles
much too small to let life in
And some draw lines to tell you
where you end and they begin
Well if those circles stretch a bit
their reach they might extend
And lives distraught may turn to joy
if rigid lines would bend!
Commentary:
Circle of influence. Circle of friends.
Line of thought. Boundary line.
All have the capacity to imprison or free.
Success comes from knowing when to widen
the circles and bend the lines that
govern your life.
Please share this with someone you love who needs to widen and bend. And if that person is you, then simply take heed.
