Some will love your beauty
and will crave you for the view
Some are wooed well by your ways
and little things you do

Some want you for reasons
based entirely on lust
Some you’ll win through honesty
you’re someone they can trust

Inner charm, intelligence
your elegance and grace
Express themselves in outer ways
like features, form and face

And though you think these parts
are not in fact the real true you
All parts are part and parcel
of the you that’s shining through

So fault not men for looking
shrink not guilty from the light
Say, “this I am and more “
And say it proud, with all your might!

For diamonds show all colors
when they’re offered to the light
Each looker sees it differently
and everyone sees right!
