123. Countdown to Perfection
It's the countdown to perfection
the dawning of a new age
A chance to make a new beginning
the chance to turn a brand new page
It's the season of adulthood
a focus shift you must begin
No longer guided by the outer
seek now your guidance from within
It's the flowering of your potential
set higher goals and raise the bar
No longer bound by your excuses
free to become all that you are
It's the harvest of abundance
fret not thyself no need for tears
All that you need will be provided
so don't give in to all the fears
It's the milestone you've awaited
t minus 3... 2... 1... and then?
After this calendar moment passes
why not just simply start again?
For what of days beyond tomorrow?
Will each be viewed with equal weight?
When you see each moment as perfection
you become the master of your fate!

122. Keeping Perspective
In the heat of the moment
your vision can often get blurred
Responses miss what was said
and instead hit what’s heard
In the maze of inner anger
you get lost with no way out
Actions lead you nowhere quickly
love gets cast in shades of doubt
So step away to gain perspective
to see anew when you return
When time is used to wait for answers
you'll be surprised at what you learn

121. The Life Tide
Against the tide at times in life
it seems that you will swim
When nothing seems to go quite right
and prospects start to dim
But know that days will soon be bright
it won't be always thus
So curse not the departing tide
try not to make a fuss
Like oceans life flows high and low
you'll never know just when
The tide of life will roll back in
and good times come again!

120. The Inspirer's Dream
Live it up hold nothing back
throw caution to the wind
In life and love that perfect chance
may never come again
Say what you mean, mean what you say
live life with no regrets
This game is one you play but once
no time to hedge your bets
I shared my dreams with one
and said don't let the secret out
But truth to tell my wish is that
the rooftops hear me shout
For some will wish and want and wail
while some will wait on fate
But the future that becomes your life
is the one that you create!

119. How to Let it Go
Insults are observations
that our ego's vested in
We strive to be what we are not
and cast ourselves in sin
There's struggle in opposing truth
For what's denied will last
Resist it and it pushes back
Accept and it will pass
It's what you say does not exist
that lingers on for years
What's railed against is given life
What's seen then disappears
The man who sees things as they are
can then be free to grow
For 'til you hold a thing in hand
you cannot let it go
